Orphans and poor children urgently need our help. Due to poverty and the ongoing AIDS crisis, families have broken down leaving thousands of children to live in orphanages or on the streets. Many of the children are at risk of violence, exploitation and lack of opportunity.
Children need loving caregivers, health care, nutrition, clean water and sanitation, education, opportunity and safety.
If any one of these is missing in a child’s life, his or her potential may remain out of reach. ILOL Foundation improves families' and children’s well-being by working to ensure all these elements are in place.
